During the lock down imposed in Spain last spring due to COVID19, one of the most popular contents that people has been looking for in internet is cooking recipes.
In June, the National Spanish television RTVE launched its web page for recipes. The search engine for the portal has been developed by The REUSE Company. The application of Artificial Intelligence, pattern matching, and Ontologies is behind the engine, and stands for query expansion, noise reduction and precision.
You can introduce one or more ingredients in the search engine and look for a recipe that suits you, or do a generic search for e.g. desserts, or you can search for recipes from your favourite chef. The search engine will find all the recipes that match your search among the more than 5.000 recipes collected by RTVE during many years.
