Description:
In the current MBSE discipline, textual requirements are developed alongside models. Typically, requirements are first considered for the SoI in parallel with the architectural decomposition of this SoI, so that the next iteration (recursion) of requirements can be generated for the elements one layer below. This approach (you can name it as zig-zag model, sandwich model…) is key for a successful Systems Engineering practice.
While there are plenty of standards and guidelines showing us the way how to write high-quality requirements (the rules in the INCOSE GtWR, the characteristics in the ISOs 830, 29148… the BABoK guide, the NASA Systems Engineering Handbook…), those guidelines typically don’t cover properly the connection between textual requirements and models. It’s a must for a successful systems engineering discipline to fully align textual requirements with the information coming from models (SysML, Capella…).
In this webinar, you’ll learn how to design a series of requirements quality rules that consider the information coming from models, and how to implement it on top of any requirements management tool and any MBSE tool thanks to the SES ENGINEERING Studio.
